Here's an image by Q.T. Luong from Specimen Ridge.
I've been researching hikes in the Yellowstone area.
Certainly, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
should be on the short list, go see Q.T.'s images!!!
Some candidates [so far] for the death march:
- Black Canyon of the Yellowstone [12 miles]
- Bighorn Peak [14 miles]
- Osprey Falls [9.2 miles]
- Fan Creek [5-11 miles]
- Sevenmile hole [10 miles]
- Upper Gallatin valley [9-13 miles]
Anyway, add some ideas!
Storm!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the blog...
I've created an account also...hopefully I'll be able to add logistical details like campsite, itinerary, etc...
Vince.
Here's some useful links as well...

Hey Folks -
ReplyDeleteI figure we'll need to delegate some things...here's a couple of ideas:
Camp Host - Vince & Yolanda
Activity Director - Storm
Music and Entertainment Committee:
Francis (4 string Violin)
Kevin (6 String Guitar)
Storm (12 String Guitar)
:-)
Well, the NPS site seems
ReplyDeleteto not work so well for me.
And how about:
"Activity... advisor" :)
There will be guitars however,
and camp songs like:
"the bear went over the
mountain... "
